Arnica, Hypericum (St John’s Wort), Yarrow and Chamomile are known to have anti-inflammatory properties. Menthol provides a cooling sensation and Yarrow gives the formula its distinctive blue colouring. The colour of Yarrow varies, so everything from a pale greenish blue to an azure blue in the final product is normal. This depends on the geography and weather at harvest, and the method of distillation.

This balm has 5 times as much Arnica in it compared to our Massage Waxes. It is our premier product for Sports Injury work and is commonly used by Physiotherapists, Osteopaths, Sports and Remedial Therapists and sports men and women themselves, especially after a rough, bumpy and strenuous game.

It has a very pleasant scent and is often used after marathons, rugby and football games, and sports in which repetitive movement and contact are common problems.

Notes on using the pump dispenser: 

1. Remove tamper evident protection The pump features an integrated tamper evident closure on the back of the pump head to ensure the integrity of the contents. It has to be removed first before pumping the first time.

2. Starting the dispenser pump and variable-dosing function For first time use, turn the dispenser head to the “Start” position and start pumping. Despite the high-performance of the vacuum pump-system it usually takes a few strokes until the Liquiwax comes out. It is essential that the dispenser head is raised 100% to achieve the highest possible vacuum effect. As soon as the Liquiwax is being dispensed, the desired dispensing quantity can be set individually according to specific needs: 3ml, 5ml, 7ml

The grey integrated protection flap on the nozzle self-opens automatically and protects the contents from dust and drying out as well as preventing contamination of the wax. It might need an occasional wipe.

Active ingredients Arnica, Camphor, Black Pepper, Cajuput, Ginger and Capsicum are traditionally renowned for the relief of muscular stiffness and joint pain, and in the management of poor circulation.

Many therapists add Warming and Easing Balm to our Massage Waxes when they require extra warmth during massage treatment. It blends with our Massage Waxes very easily. In some instances, it can be used on its own to massage into particular muscles for maximum heating effect. Always do a patch test first in this instance.

It is most effective when thoroughly rubbed into the muscle. The warming sensation will be reduced on bony areas and connective tissue. The effect is felt over time, so using it before a shower or before bed is not suggested.

Caution: Use with caution around the eyes and on soft body tissue.
